1. The short version
telesignal.app doesn’t set cookies, has no forms and doesn’t collect visitors’ personal data. The only thing the Site saves in your browser is the interface language you chose (Section 2), and the only thing it keeps is anonymized visit statistics (Section 3). That’s why there’s no cookie banner — there’s nothing to consent to.
2. Interface language
The Site is available in several languages. On your first visit, it checks your browser settings once to pick a language (or shows English if the Site doesn’t offer that language) and remembers the choice in your browser’s localStorage. This is just a language code — de, en, es, fr, etc. — with no date, no identifier and no link to the statistics described below. It is never sent anywhere, and you can change it anytime with the language switcher in the Site header. To delete it and let your browser settings decide again, run localStorage.removeItem('ts_lang') in your browser console.
3. Visit statistics
To understand how many people visit the Site and which sections are useful, we collect anonymized statistics. They include:
- the pages you open and the site you came from, including campaign tags in the link;
- your browser, device and operating system type, browser language and screen size;
- your approximate location — country and city, never a precise address;
- what you do on the page — clicking the button that opens Telegram and other elements, expanding a question in the FAQ, following links on the Site, how far you scroll and how long each section stays on screen;
- technical script errors on the page — so we can fix them.
For some visits, we also collect anonymized data on where people click and how far they scroll, which we combine into a page “heatmap.” These are the same events listed above, with no link to any specific person. There’s nowhere on the Site to type text anyway.
We only look at statistics in aggregate — how many visits, where they come from and which sections people are interested in.
4. What we don’t do
- We don’t store IP addresses in the statistics. To avoid counting one visit twice, we derive a one-way code from technical request data using a random “salt” that changes regularly. It can’t be used to recover your IP address or to find out who you are.
- We don’t create a tracking identifier on your device: no cookies and nothing in browser storage — except the interface language from Section 2, which doesn’t identify you.
- We don’t build a browser “fingerprint,” and we don’t link visits to your accounts or to other websites.
- We don’t share statistics with third parties or use them for advertising.
5. Third-party services
The Site’s fonts, images and scripts are loaded from its own domain. There are no third-party trackers, ad pixels, social widgets or external CDNs on the Site. The one exception is the server that collects the visit statistics described above, and the data it collects isn’t shared with anyone.
Like any website, the server receives technical request data — your IP address and browser details — because the page can’t be delivered without them. This data isn’t used to track visitors.
6. How to opt out
Turn on “Do Not Track” in your browser, and no statistics will be collected for your visit. Ad and tracker blockers have the same effect. None of this affects how the Site works.
7. Changes
If the Site starts collecting anything beyond what’s described here, we’ll update this page. Each new version is published here with its date.
